Stacker cranes

Can be integrated with energy efficiency systems

Description: stacker cranes

The stacker crane is a system that conceptually combines the floor cart with a forklift, it performs simultaneous translation and lifting, on board the stacker crane there can be either a trolley or trays. It is particularly suitable for large parking lots, over 50 cars, multiple stacker cranes can also be inserted, working in synchrony to handle multiple demands at the same time.

They can reach high speeds of both travel and lifting, up to 1 m/s. Thanks to innovative energy efficiency systems, it is possible to reduce their power consumption; a regenerative inverter can be installed that transfers energy from the “unloaded” motor to the “loaded” motor.

Mechanically, it is constructed with one or two support columns that also serve as a vertical guide for the platform where the car is housed. At the base of the columns steel wheels allow them to slide on guide rails. Two electric gear motors provide the movements.
