Description: floor trolleys
Floor trolleys, or shuttles, are translating elements that are placed inside automatic parking lots. Their function is to move cars across the entire reference plane, translating only horizontally; vertical movement, however, is carried out by a lift.
They are very suitable for large parking lots, which can reach over 100 parking spaces, as they are very fast, reaching even 1 m/s maximum speed.
There are two basic versions:
- the first one runs along the “x” axis, that is, the long side, transports the car by means of a tray, and through the ejection unit manages to place the trays in the right position.
- The second version, on the other hand, makes the “y” translation, short side, in this case the shuttle accommodates an integral lifting trolley on board that carries the car to its final destination.
Both versions can be made with an integrated rotating platform, allowing the car to rotate directly on the floor cart.
